  • Robby Ortega

    Robby wrestled for Jerome High School. He was a 2X High School State Placer (4th, 4th), a Red Halverson finalist, and a member of the 2021 Jerome High School State Championship Team. Collegiately, he competed for Northwest Community College, where he was a 2025 NJCAA National Qualifier. He currently serves as the Jerome Middle School head coach.

  • Trevor Henderson

    Trevor comes to us with extensive knowledge and experience in the sport of wrestling, having grown up in some of the most competitive rooms in the country and rubbed shoulders with some of the best wrestlers in the United States. He wrestled for Mission Viejo High School in California, where he was a 4-year letterman and a 2X California Greco State Placer.

    He grew up wrestling with the nationally recognized Team Thunder Club out of Calvary Chapel High School and was coached by nationally recognized coaches Jake Harmon and Arsen Aleksanyan.

    After high school, Trevor was an assistant coach at Mission Viejo High School and the head coach of Honey Badgers Wrestling Club in California from 2012–2013.

  • Chase Maddock

    Chase wrestled for Cokeville, Wyoming, where he was a 2X Wyoming High School State Finalist and a 3X State Placer. He also competed collegiately in the NJCAA and NCWA.

    He has extensive knowledge and experience in the sport of wrestling, having trained with nationally recognized wrestlers who went on to become All-Americans, National Champions, and former World Team members. Additionally, he has hosted many clinics across Wyoming, Utah, and Idaho over the past five years and has been a high school referee for the past 10 years.

    His favorite thing about wrestling is the challenge of training and competing—and how it can help kids grow as individuals

  • Gabe Piaz

    Gabe wrestled for Jerome High School, where he was an Idaho High School State finalist, placing 2nd his senior year. Additionally, he was a 1X District Champion, 2X District Finalist, and a 3X Idaho High School State Qualifier.

  • Joe Carey

    Joe started wrestling at a very young age and enjoys the sport for the lessons it teaches youth—hard work, sacrifice, dedication, and accountability. He wrestled for Jerome High School, where he placed 4th at the Idaho High School State Championships his Senior year.
